Three excellent speakers will show you all different angles of connectivity;
1. Eric Festraets leads Fixed Networks strategic marketing within Nokia. His role is focusing on consultative and best practices sharing, helping carrier & network operators in many regions to leverage on successful business models, go to market tactics, deployment strategies and technology evolution, suitable for their broadband market. From May 2020 till June 2023, Eric presided the FTTH Council Europe, after 5 years of membership of the Board of Directors.
2. Mark Diemèl – Vice-President Commercial Operations at Rivada Space Networks. Mark started his career at KPN (PTT Telecom) in 1991 and switched to the international satellite communications industry in 1999 by joining New Skies Satellites, a satellite start-up, later acquired by SES. Until 2019, Mark was responsible for leading global teams of professionals responsible for Customer Excellence, Service Fulfillment, Sales Planning and Business Intelligence. In 2019 Mark made a side-step, self employed under the OnTheMark flag, working on Commercial Operations assignments at different non-telco organizations broadening my horizon. Currently he is Vice-President Commercial Operations at Rivada Space Net
3. Marlou de Jonge-Pors Solution Architect NL-IX. NL-ix interconnects the networks. Marlou de Jonge-Pors is a Solution Architect at NL-ix. NL-ix is the Internet platform behind millions of businesses. Marlou takes corporate customers on a journey through the world of Internet and the network of the future, focusing on:
- - Insight in usage of SaaS-applications
- - Connectivity to the cloud
In her enthusiastic stories she also leans on her previous career as researcher at KPN and her love for programmable networks.
The event will take place on Thursday 23rd of May and will start around 5:30 PM at Nokia Headquarters in Hoofddorp.
